Q – What information do I need to get a quote?
A – In order to quote your shipment, Moxie needs the dimensions (weight, length, height) origin, destination, commodity along with any special instructions (tarp, extra stops, hazardous).

Q – Can Moxie move internationally?
A – Yes, we can move freight virtually anywhere; Moxie has moved freight to Vietnam, Malaysia, Mexico and Central America. Each international shipment has to go through a US customs broker who will help streamline the international shipping process. The fees associated with customs brokerage services will vary.

Q – How many trucks does Moxie own?
A - Moxie does not own any trucks, however we have a sister company that does own a small fleet of trucks available for Moxie’s use. Moxie also has an agency service available in addition to our brokerage service.

Q – Can Moxie move an LTL (Partial load)?
A – Moxie specializes in full service flatbed transportation. Although it is difficult for us to fulfill partial orders, you are more than welcome to call and see if arrangements for your partial shipment can be made.

Carrier FAQs

Q – I agreed to move a load with Moxie over the phone, what do I do next?
A - Wait for our contract to be faxed to you, sign it and fax it back with proof of insurance, authority and W-9.

Q – Do I need insurance to carry loads for Moxie?
A - Yes, each of our carriers must carry at least a $1 million insurance policy. Minimums may increase depending on the load but for most of our loads the $1 million dollar policy is sufficient.

Q – If I’m calling about a missing check what information do I need to find out when it was mailed to me?
A – Located in the top left corner of your confirmation sheet is our PRO number (begins with the letters “MO”). You will need this number as well as your invoice number.
